Following a 3-2 win over Bari at the weekend, Napoli have 23 points to their name, just two behind Parma in fourth place, the final Champions League qualifying spot.

Although it is still early in the season, midfielder Marek Hamsik is aiming high and believes the club can attain qualification to Europe's premier competition.

"I bet that Napoli will qualify for the Champions League," he said during an interview with Sky Sports.

The Partenopei are unbeaten in nine matches since hiring Walter Mazzarri as coach and have been steadily climbing the Serie A standings.

Hamsik was recently included among the 60 candidates for the 'UEFA Team of the Year' after voting by uefa.com users. He has been linked with a move to Manchester United over the past couple of months.
