Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini has been forced out of the Champions League clash against Bayern Munich on Tuesday with a calf problem.
Tuttosport reports the Italian international was missing from this morning's final training session ahead of the big clash which is valid for a ticket into the next round.
Chiellini is suffering from a knock to his calf muscle and will be rested. He is likely to return for the weekend clash against Bari. Nicola Legrottaglie is likely to step in for Chiellini and partner Fabio Cannavaro in defence.
The rest of the team trained on the Vinovo pitches as they prepare to welcome the German outfit.
Meanwhile, news from Germany suggests Luca Toni has not been picked for the clash in what would have been a return to his native country.
