Juventus Coach Ciro Ferrara: Inter Win Will Mean Nothing If We Fail In The Champions League
The coach has underlined the importance of the upcoming fixture against Bayern Munich...
Juventus coach Ciro Ferrara has told his side that beating Inter "will mean nothing" if they fail to gain the required point against Bayern Munich and miss out on qualification for the Champions League round of 16.
Confidence has been restored at Vinovo following the 2-1 win over the Nerazzurri on Saturday, but Ferrara knows they must now transfer any benefit gained from that game to their European campaign. Juve have to pick up a draw or win against Bayern to progress, and their tactician has underlined the importance of the match.
"If we lose against Bayern then the win against Inter would be worthless, furthermore we would be out of the Champions League," Ferrara told Tuttosport
"Beating Inter has a particular taste to it, but I want to see more determination. We cannot repeat previous errors."
Juve welcome the German outfit to the Olimpico on Tuesday night. Kick-off is at 20:45CET.
