Getting To First Position In The Group Was Paramount - Roma's David Pizarro
The Chilean international says that getting to the top was the main thing...
In defeating Swiss outfit Basel 2-1 in the Europa League, Roma have climbed to the top of Group E, and that was the important thing according to midfielder David Pizarro.
If the Lupi want to win the Roman Derby on Sunday night, then more will need to be done, according to the Chilean.
"The important thing was claiming first position in the Group," the 30-year-old stated post-match to Roma Channel. "We have had problems in the group, but we have made it.
"We played an excellent first half, but to win the Derby, more needs to be done.
"Also, the opportunity to move into the high positions on the ladder could arise should we win.
"There is no favourite," Pizarro concluded.
