Ferreira Pinto Wants Atalanta To Move Up The Serie A Table
The Nerazzurri need to distance themselves from the relegation zone, according to the midfielder...
Atalanta midfielder Ferreira Pinto admits that the Nerazzurri's position in the Serie A table is poor, and wants his side to rectify the problem as early as this weekend against Fiorentina.
"We are awaiting matches of the highest level," the Brazilian said to TMW. "And we cannot make errors.
"Even if [Fiorentina coach Cesare] Prandelli were to put on the park players of less importance, we cannot underestimate that team.
"Whatever their ambitions, Atalanta needs to climb up the ladder, no matter who they play."
Pinto is still not at 100 per cent fitness, but is available to coach Antonio Conte should he be chosen.
"I am still not at 100 per cent, and am putting myself at the disposal of the coaching staff," the 30-year-old affirmed.
"It's too early to say whether I will start [against Fiorentina], but can be selected," Pinto concluded.
