John Elkann & Jean-Claude Blanc At Vinovo To Give Juventus Beneficial Advice
The club's hierarchy are spending the day with the team to ensure they win the battle for points against Inter...
Juventus heir John Elkann and president Jean-Claude Blanc are at the club's training ground to revive the embers of Scudetto thinking ahead of the derby d'Italia against Inter.
According to Sky Sport Italia, both men turned up at the club's Vinovo training centre around 10:45CET to give the squad a salutary speech after some negative results both in Europe and in Serie A. The duo's presence is a sign of solidarity as they show faith in coach Ciro Ferrara and the team.
The report claims they went into the dressing room to hold a talk with the squad to underline their trust and help the team climb out from their difficult moment. Voices earlier this week had suggested Elkann was fuming following back to back losses. His visit will be seen as a timely one as the team prepares to clash with the Nerazzurri.
Ferrara is expected to take the day's training session behind closed doors as he tries different formations. The Bianconeri are currently eight points behind the league leaders. Anything less than a win could see Scudetto hopes dashed.
