The Match Against Empoli Was A Training Run - Catania Coach Gianluca Atzori
The Elefanti tactician is happy to progress, but says the match wasn't too challenging...
Catania boss Gianluca Atzori is not savouring his team's Coppa Italia win over Empoli. Instead he has shifted his focus to this weekend's battle against fellow cellar dwellers Siena.
Goals from Federico Moretti and Takayuki Morimoto saw the Elefanti advance to the next round.
"The match served as a training session," Atzori told Sportal. "But we are still happy to go through to the next round.
"It is now necessary that we turn our attention to Siena.
"We have to enforce our style of play on them, without being scared of a team who are capable of beating us," concluded the coach.
