Napoli striker Ezequiel Lavezzi looks set to return to the side after missing last weekend's 1-1 draw with Parma.

The Argentine suffered a thigh strain prior to the encounter with the Gialloblu, but has seemingly recovered and will at the very least be on the bench against Bari at the Stadio San Paolo on Sunday.

The Galletti have been one of the surprise packages of the season, already obtaining 21 points, one ahead of Napoli in the Serie A standings. However, the Partenopei have been on a steady climb, undefeated in seven league matches under new coach Walter Mazzarri.

Lavezzi has been an influential player for the Partenopei, despite only scoring twice so far this season.

Meanwhile, Mazzarri has plenty of problems in defence as Salvatore Aronica and Matteo Contini will miss the match through suspension.
