Claudio Ranieri: We Want To Progress In The Europa League
The coach has told his side to keep up the good work ahead of two crucial clashes...
Roma coach Claudio Ranieri has stressed the importance of his sides next two games and the impact they can have in terms of shaping their season.
The Lupi welcome Basel on Thursday night before rumbling with bitter city rivals Lazio in the Derby della Capitale on Sunday night.
Ranieri has given his side beneficial advice, telling them not to underestimate their upcoming opponents.
"Basel and then Lazio? They are both very important games for us. We want to go ahead in Europe, but that will be difficult if we do not beat Basel," Ranieri told the press.
"We cannot take this game for granted. We have to win in order to progress."
Ranieri is desperate for a result and he has confirmed legendary captain Francesco Totti will take to the field to help push his side along their journey.
"I will not make any calculations. I want to win the group and so I will play my strongest formation. I think Totti will play," he concluded.
