Palermo Midfielder Manuele Blasi Open To Napoli Return - Agent

The 29-year-old would jump at the chance to re-join his parent club…

The representative of Palermo midfielder Manuele Blasi has reiterated that his client is willing to return to Napoli during the January transfer window.

The Partenopei loaned out Blasi to Palermo on transfer deadline day last summer after the ex-Juventus man had become frustrated at a lack of playing time under former Azzurri boss Roberto Donadoni.

But the pugnacious midfielder has failed to make an impression in Sicily and agent Davide Lippi has added weight to rumours that the Campani will call him back in the new year.

“I was supposed to meet with [Napoli sporting director Riccardo] Bigon, but he came down with the flu,” Lippi explained to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“Manuele is at Palermo, he is struggling to find space, but as long as he is there he will give his all to the Rosanero’s cause.

“He loved it in Naples, he still owns a house there and only left because certain difficult situations emerged that are not there any more.

“And now, if anything, the radically changed situation could pave the way for Blasi to return to Napoli.”
