Milan striker Filippo Inzaghi is unlikely to join Parma during the January sales as president Tommaso Ghirardi rules out a move.

Inzaghi's current deal with the Rossoneri expires in the summer and he will be free to talk to another club in January. The former Atalanta and Juventus striker hinted that if he didn't get a renewal to play for Milan, he "would do it elsewhere".

The Ducali have recently been linked with his services as they continue to fly in Serie A, but 'Superpippo' is unlikely to arrive.

"Inzaghi? I admire him a lot as a player and as a man," the chief told Tuttomercatoweb.com.

"Everyone knows he is a friend of mine but it is impossible that he will play at Parma. I would only be able to afford him if we get into the Champions League."

Macdonald Mariga has been linked with several big clubs, but Ghirardi insists he is staying.

"We do not want to sell our prized assets, but if we receive a big offer from a major club then I will not be able to deny the play such an opportunity," he concluded.
