Lazio Could Be Dangerous For Roma - Daniele De Rossi
The star midfielder warns that the Biancocelesti could play the game of their life during the Roman derby...
Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi has little faith in Lazio allowing the Giallorossi to take maximum points from their match on the weekend.
The Biancocelesti have struggled to win a match over the past few months, but De Rossi believes that the Aquile could play the match of their lives during the Roman derby.
"Potentially, it is a match that is within our grasp," the 26-year-old told Sportal.it. "The Biancocelesti may struggle, but then the Derby arrives and they play the match of their lives.
"We are a great side, and have remembered that point.
"We need to arrive in the Champions League, and we are now close to doing so."
De Rossi also spoke about his condition, having undergone some serious surgery over the past few weeks.
"It's all in the past, now," the midfielder affirmed. "The cheekbone was okay after two days, but the problem with my kidneys was more worrying.
"It was more painful, and took longer to resolve, but now it has gone away.
"As for [Inter midfielder Patrick] Vieira? He apologised. All is back to normal," De Rossi concluded.
Before the Lupi can focus on playing Lazio, they must face Basel in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
