We Must Keep Our Feet On The Ground - Parma President Tommaso Ghirardi
The Gialloblu supremo is delighted with the team's position in the table but issued a warning about the potential pitfalls ahead...
Parma president Tommaso Ghirardi insists that his team rightfully earned a point against Napoli, saying that the Ducali were the better team in the second half.
A penalty was awarded to the Gialloblu late in the second half -which was converted - and meant that the scores were level going into the last five minutes of the match.
"We did not steal anything," Ghirardi staunchly affirmed while receiving the Torretta at Sesto San Giovanni award, as reported by Sportal.it.
"In the second half, we came out and played really well. We are having fun, and the table is smiling in our favour.
"But we must remain with our feet on the ground because it only takes a small slip-up, and we could be in danger of being relegated.
"We must not lose our heads," summed up Ghirardi.
Parma currently sit in fifth position on 24 points.
