I Have Signed My New Contract With Roma - Francesco Totti
'Er Pupone' claims that Lazio are the favourites for Sunday's derby della Capitale...
Roma icon Francesco Totti launched his new website, www.francescototti.com, at a glamorous ceremony this evening.
A number of his team-mates and celebrities were at the event, at which Totti revealed that his new contract with the Giallorossi has finally been signed.
"It's already signed. Now it must be deposited [with the Lega Calcio] - the club will decide when to do that. We are waiting for the right moment," Totti affirmed to Romanews.eu.
There were no further details forthcoming from the 33-year-old, who then mischievously labelled Lazio as the favourites for next week's derby.
"It's a derby like any other. They are playing for safety and we were in the same situation a month ago. But we are much stronger than them. We have higher aims.
"Those who are worse off are always the favourites..."
Since returning from injury, Totti has been employed in an attacking triumvirate that also features Mirko Vucinic and Jeremy Menez, and he hopes that the tactical system continues to get results.
"It's going well, we hope that it goes on like this. I feel good with Vucinic and Menez. It's easier for everyone with players who make a difference.
"It's our objective to finish in the top four. The league is still long. We must give continuity to our results before talking about the Champions League."
