Goran Pandev Hearing To Take Place On December 11 - Report
Legal action surrounding the striker's future with Lazio has now been scheduled for two weeks' time...
The first hearing into Goran Pandev's contractual wrangle with Lazio has been scheduled for December 11, according to Lalaziosiamonoi.it.
It is reported that the Lega Calcio will decide whether the case for Pandev's request for his contract to be rescinded holds any water.
If the Macedonian's request is successful, it will go a long way towards allowing him to leave the beleaguered Biancocelesti in January. Inter are believed to be among those who are leading the chase for his signature.
However, the club are insisting that damages are owed to them, arguing that the player is guilty of a breach of contract. As a result, the inquest could drag on through the winter transfer window and keep Pandev's career in limbo.
Cristian Ledesma has also been marginalised by Claudio Lotito, and Genoa president Enrico Preziosi believes that the duo's continuing exclusion is costing Lazio on the pitch.
"I believe that a lot of what is happening to Lazio is down to the chaos surrounding Ledesma and Pandev," he told Radio Radio.
"I can't talk about the decisions of a colleague. Lotito will certainly have his reasons, but not to play two players of such importance is really a big responsibility. Ledesma and Pandev can make a difference in any team - Lazio are impoverished without them."
