Juve's season is riding on their next two games. Anything less than wins could see plans for silverware shelved until next season.
Losing to the Nerazzurri will see Ciro Ferrara's men fall 11 points behind the league leaders, while a defeat to the German side in the Champions League will see them crash out of Europe's premier club competition.
"You can only understand whether it's a good or bad moment only after you play games," Pessotto told La Repubblica.
"In terms of Juventus - Inter, the Bianconeri must not be thinking of anything else apart from this game.
"The Inter game is very important and it comes before another crucial match which is Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
"There needs to be less talk and more focus on the next two games."
