We Deserved A Draw Against Cagliari - Juventus' Fabio Cannavaro
The star defender believes that the second half could have squared the ledger, and divided the points up...
Juventus may have suffered a shock 2-0 loss to Cagliari, but defender Fabio Cannavaro believes that it was only as a result of playing badly in the first half.
According to the 2006 Ballon d'Or winner, the Bianconeri played better after the break, and deserved a consolation point, at the least.
"In the first half we played badly," the 36-year-old affirmed to the club's official website, Juventus.it. "But in the second, we pressed a lot and we would have deserved a draw.
He also went into why the team is underperforming, denying the issue lies with the formation.
"It is not a formation problem.
"The problem is that we are not consistent and I am not speaking of results but of play.
"Unfortunately, at the moment we are not managing to have this," Cannavaro concluded.
The Vecchia Signora slip to third place, after Milan's 2-0 win over Catania.
