Inter midfielder Dejan Stankovic admits that his side may have underperformed against Barcelona in the Champions League, but the victory over Fiorentina proves that they are a great team.

A Diego Milito goal late in the second half secured all three points, and extended their points buffer over the rest of the league.

"I am very happy for this result," the Goal.com Man of The Match told Rai post-game. "Now we must stop thinking about, and discussing, the Barcelona match.

"Inter demonstrated to have great character thanks to the support of the public.

He concluded, "It also showed that it is a grand team."
