The Dutchman's brace in injury time during the second half helped the Diavoli overtake Juventus and climb into second place.
"We wanted to win," the hitman said to Corriere Dello Sport. "And we were able to thanks to these two goals.
"I have worked hard over the last few weeks to perform well, and I hope to still improve.
"Even the team's reaction was positive.
"These two goals are a starting point for me, and I hope to go forward from here," he concluded.
