After inspiring the Lupi to victory with a wonderful headed equaliser just before half time, Roma’s Mirko Vucinic was delighted with the way his side came back in difficult circumstances to secure the points in Bergamo.
“The team knew what was needed to come fighting back, and this is very important,” he declared to SkySport.
“These three points are fundamental for our current position in the standings.
“I have had some difficulties recently, but thanks to the many people around me I have managed to overcome them.”
With the Derby della Capitale now just seven days away, the Montenegrin declared his side are remaining focused on Thursday's Europa League responsibilities.
“The derby? We are only focused on the clash with Basel.”
