Fiorentina are ready to shackle Stevan Jovetic to the club by giving him a new deal and inserting a €25 million buy-out clause in his contract, according to La Nazione.

The talented Montenegrin playmaker has been on fire this season. His contributions have helped the team scale new heights in the Champions League and maintain a good challenge in Serie A.

Italian reports claim he is wanted by a number of major European clubs, but the Viola have a plan that will tie him down in Florence.

Negotiations are expected to begin in 2010 and it is said a €25 million release clause will be inserted as part of the improved contract.

The Viola are desperate to keep hold of Jovetic, and they are hoping the new terms will fend off interest.
