Fiorentina Star Alberto Gilardino Tips Cesare Prandelli For Italy Post
The Viola player has claimed his coach would be a good fit for La Nazionale...
The Italy boss may leave his post following the World Cup, and although Prandelli is tied to the Viola, he has constantly been linked with the job.
"[Prandelli] is a good coach on and off the field. He stands by the things he says," revealed 'Gila' to Rai 2.
"Can he be the heir to Lippi for the national team? I think if Lippi leaves, it's normal that Prandelli would be considered as his successor. From a certain point of view it would be a beautiful achievement."
Prandelli recently secured Fiorentina's place in the knock-out stages of the Champions League with a 1-0 win over Olympique Lyonnais.
