Villarreal's Giuseppe Rossi May Move In June - Agent - Report
Andrea Pastorello has hinted that there is a possibility that the 22-year-old could be wearing colours other than yellow, but only in the summer...
Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi has returned to being at the centre of a transfer rumour, this time, led by his agent, Andrea Pastorello.
Pastorello confirmed that Russian side Rubin Kazan were interested in his client, but also that Juventus were closely monitoring the young star.
"Interest from Rubin was there," Pastorello told TMW as reported on Novantesimo.it. "But at this stage in his career, he is not looking at this type of opportunity.
"Giuseppe hopes to be called up to represent Italy at the World Cup, and a move to Russia would not be a step in the right direction, with all due respect.
"Should there be an offer [from Italy], we will take it into consideration, just like any offer from within Spain.
"I think that in January [over the winter transfer window], nothing will happen.
"Players of his calibre generally move during the summer market," the agent summed up.
