Palermo's Delio Rossi Thanks Players For Their Concentration
The new Rosanero boss starts off his adventure with a win...
Rossi admits that he was not too sure if his players were going to be attentive for the whole match, or drop off because they were playing against a second division side.
"I really have to thank the players because they took on a team that is in a lower division with the right concentration levels," Rossi told to Sportal.it.
"I was curious to see them in action, but I have to say that they did well.
"There is still a lot of work to be done, but we have gotten off on the right foot."
The new boss wanted to thank those behind his appointment, and he wishes to meet their high expectations.
"I want to thank those who have shown me great affection," he stated. "I hope to achieve what is expected, and will do my best with the team.
"This evening, we played in a positive manner for most of the match, and in the last 20 minutes, the result was assured.
"Now, we must find the continuity," concluded the Palermo boss.
That continuity will hope to be achieved with a match against Chievo on Sunday.
