There Is No Trouble Between Cicinho And Roma - Agent
The player's agent has played down reports of tension at Trigoria...
There are no problems between Cicinho and Roma after his latest snub by coach Claudio Ranieri, claims his agent Ricardo Sarti.
Cicinho was left out of the squad by Ranieri, but rather than watch the game from the stands, he went home. Speculation followed in the local Italian media suggesting the Brazilian was reconsidering his future.
However, his agent has stepped in to recant those voices and gave a clearer picture of the situation.
"I spoke to the player briefly and I will talk to him further later," the agent told Laroma24.it.
"I know Cicinho has met with [club director Gian Paolo] Montali, but he is tranquil. The player has recovered [from injury] and now he needs to wait to be given chances by the coach. There are no particular problems.
"It's too early to talk about his future as he has a contract with Roma and he wants to remain here."
