Juventus attacking midfielder Diego wants the perfect night when the Old Lady pay visit to French side Bordeaux this evening for a vital Champions League Group A tie.
The 24-year-old has rippled the net three times in Serie A so far this term and is now itching to end his goal drought on the European stage to help the Serie A giants progress to the knockout stages.
“I hope to score against Bordeaux, because I have yet to manage it in Europe,” he told TuttoJuve.com.
“The important thing is to win, but if you do it and get a goal, everything becomes perfect.
“I think I can give much more to the side and this match is very important, because we could secure an early qualification.
“We will take to the pitch to seal our spot into the next round. We will give our all to get this result, even though it’s more complicated away from home.
“Bordeaux are a good team and are top of the group. We respect our opponents, but we will play for a win.”
Juve trail the French champions by two points and would make sure of a place in the last 16 stage of the competition with a victory in tonight’s game.
