West Ham United Director Gianluca Nani Shoots Down Valon Behrami To Juventus Claims

The Hammers have quashed rumours that there could be players going through the revolving doors at Upton Park this winter...

EPL: Valon Behrami, Sunderland - West Ham United (PA)
West Ham United sporting director Gianluca Nani has razed reports linking Valon Behrami with a move to Serie A giants Juventus.

Rumours around the peninsula have linked the former Lazio man with a return to Serie A. In addition, Bologna striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo has been tipped to move to east London.

However, Nani has responded to the reports, claiming there will be limited transfer activity.

"In terms of the outgoing market, I would like to specify that we do not have any intention to get rid of our best players," Nani told Radio Tau.

"The same can be said regarding Behrami. He is a great player, and will be staying here."

Osvaldo caught the eye at Upton Park, but that move seems to have gone stale.

"Daniel [Osvaldo] is not a player we are currently following, but we did follow him in the past before he joined Bologna," added the Italian.

"Osvaldo is a great striker, but we are no longer following him, and we are not interested in buying him either."
