Inter Top Serie A Attendance Figures
The Nerazzurri may boast the biggest crowds, but Juventus dominate them on another statistic...
City rivals Milan are in second place, while Napoli's summer spending and return to form has encouraged fans to invest in match tickets.
According to figures released by the Lega Calcio, Inter are outright winners. However, Juventus fill the greatest percentage of their ground - 85.86 per cent.
We have to remember that Juve's current stadium has a smaller capacity compared to the Giuseppe Meazza. Genoa fill on average 79.28 per cent of their capacity. For relegation strugglers Siena, over 70 per cent of the Artemio Franchi is filled during a typical match.
Inter top the list of averages as they attract 51,372 people on matchdays. Milan are second with 44,110, Napoli follow on 41,476, while Roma attract 35,609 and Lazio 34,630.
The figures are accurate as of matchday 13 of the 2009-10 season.
