Roman Pavlyuchenko's agent has invited Roma to make their interest in the Tottenham Hotspur striker known.

Oliver Wendt claims the trail has gone cold, but he is hoping it can be found once again. Roma have been linked with the Russian on numerous occasions and sporting director Daniele Prade was reportedly in London to uncover details.

"I have not heard from Roma since they were in London and there has not been any contact with Tottenham either," Wendt told Romagiallorossa.com.

The representative was keen to stress that no loan deal is likely

"It's not possible," he asserted. "It's either a permanent transfer or there will be no deal. He wants to leave Tottenham."

Earlier this week, Spurs boss Harry Redknapp claimed the club would not barter over the player's value.
