Napoli Coach Walter Mazzarri Jumps To Fabio Quagliarella's Defence
Quagliarella may have struggled since his summer move from the Zebrette, but his coach believes things are improving...
Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri is lobbying for the voices of discontent surrounding Fabio Quagliarella to stop.
The striker has not enjoyed the best of times since his lucrative summer move from Udinese. His goal drought and a dip in form has seen him drop down Mazzarri's pecking order.
However, the Italian tactician has told the detractors to back off.
"Now that Quagliarella is recovering his form all is well now, I am sure the goals will arrive in time," Mazzarri told Il Corriere Dello Sport.
"Now we have to think about the game with Cittadella [in the Coppa Italia on Thursday]."
