Juventus Ace Diego: Scudetto? Yes, We Can
The Brazilian is adamant the Old Lady are capable of wresting the title away from Inter...
Inter retained the Scudetto for the fourth year running last May and already boast a five-point cushion over Juve this term, after the Bianconeri endured an inconsistent start to the campaign. They needed a Fabio Grosso effort to see off the Friulans at the weekend.
But Diego sees the glass half full and told Tuttosport: “It was a well-played match and we created plenty of scoring chances.
“We wasted a few opportunities to take the lead, but the important thing is that we won and so we can continue chasing Inter and the top of the league table which is five point in front of us.
“We turned in a good display and we’ll keep playing to win. We have the opportunity to go top and we are fighting to get there.”
Juve will visit Cagliari next Sunday, before a crunch clash with Inter at the Olimpico on December 5.
