Mathieu Flamini Desperate To Feature For Milan Against Olympique Marseille
The Frenchman wants to overcome an ankle problem and face his former club...
Milan midfielder Mathieu Flamini has admitted that he is desperate to prove his fitness in order to play against Olympique Marseille on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old is suffering from an ankle injury that kept him out of last weekend's game against Cagliari, and will undergo tests tomorrow that will determine whether or not he can face les Phoceens.
It is expected that he will remain on the sidelines, and that would devastate the midfielder.
"I hope to be there," he is quoted as saying by Milannews.it.
"I had a sprain last Wednesday and I will have a test tomorrow. I would really like to be there."
Flamini played 14 times for l'OM during the 2003/04 season before he was signed by Arsene Wenger's Arsenal.
