Luciano Moggi Hits Back At Zdenek Zeman
The former Juventus director has called the experienced coach a liar...
Former Roma and Lazio coach Zdenek Zeman recently told a Calciopoli hearing in Naples that Luciano Moggi was preventing him from succeeding in Serie A.
However, the former Juventus director has now hit back and said that Zeman's failings are entirely the fault of the coach, not him.
"Have you heard the testimony of Zeman in the trial?" he said on Gold Sport.
"It's clear that he's a liar who suffers from complexes. He says that I ruined his career by making him join Napoli?
@If all my enemies got two and a a half million net lire for little more than a month of work, I don't think I'd have any more friends.
"The truth is that he is no longer calm when he speaks. You realise that he said he was the best coach in Europe, but had never won anything and that it was my fault he wasn't a coach any more?
"His spells in Turkey and Serbia, so then, was my system also there?"
Zeman spent a season with Fenerbahce after leaving Roma in 1999, while his last job in football was a brief stint with Red Star Belgrade in 2008.
