Pick Your Juventus Team
The Old Lady travel to France to face Bordeaux in the Champions League. Goal.com invites you to pick your starting XI...
Calling all armchair coaches: it's time to pick your Juventus team.
The Old Lady travel to the Stade Chaban-Delmas hoping to book their place in the last 16. A win will see them join Bordeaux, who have already qualified.
Juventus are almost back to full strength, with Alessandro Del Piero and Mohamed Sissoko both expected to start after making their returns from injury against Cagliari. Claudio Marchisio is also in the squad after coming back from his recent knee surgery. Hasan Salihamidzic and Jonathan Zebina are still out, while David Trezeguet and Vincenzo Iaquinta are absentees too. The Frenchman is out for up to a month with a thigh problem.
Here is the squad at your disposal:
Goalkeepers: Buffon, Chimenti, Manninger.
Defenders: Chiellini, Cannavaro, Grosso, Molinaro, Grygera, Ariaudo, Legrottaglie, Caceres, Zebina.
Midfielders: Felipe Melo, Camoranesi, Poulsen, Diego, De Ceglie, Tiago, Salihamidzic, Sissoko.
Strikers: Amauri, Giovinco, Del Piero.
We ask you to leave your choices in the comments feature below using semi-colons to separate positions, and working from right to left. For example, here's the side that could line up in a 4-3-3 formation:
Buffon; Caceres, Cannavaro, Chiellini, Grosso; Camoranesi, Sissoko, Melo; Diego, Del Piero, Amauri.
Forza Juve!
