Luciano Moggi: Inter Will Win The Scudetto This Season

The Italian believes there will only be one winner in the frantic Scudetto race...

Luciano Moggi
Former Juventus director Luciano Moggi has hailed Inter, claiming Jose Mourinho's excellence will see them bag another title this term.

The Nerazzurri are still the standard bearers in Serie A and Moggi feels they are in a league of their own as he downgrades the opposition.

"Inter are flying in the league. Second place will be a fight between Milan and Juventus," Moggi told Tuttosport.

"The Rossoneri are competitive. They are using spaces well ever since Ronaldinho grasped the nettle. Marco Borriello's presence in attack is also helping."

Moggi believes Mourinho's hand will deliver more success for the Beneamata. He has hailed the 'Special One', claiming he is the best coach in Italy.

"He is the best director in the league. No-one can defend his side like he can," added Moggi.

Moggi was a director with the Bianconeri the last time they won the Champions League in 1996. With a number of vital games taking place this week, the Italian has made his European picks.

"The next round of matches will be fundamental for the Italian teams. Inter risk the most," added Moggi.

"Milan should have no problems against Marseille if they keep their eyes open. Juventus are practically through. Even if they lose to Bordeaux, they can still qualify as long as they don't fail against Bayern Munich at home.

"The final? Barcelona against Chelsea."
