Giuseppe Signori: Roma Legend Francesco Totti Will Break Serie A Goal Records

The legendary striker has praised Totti's sensational goal-getting form, indicating that he expects the Giallorossi's ace to outdo both himself and Roberto Baggio...

Giuseppe Signori (Grazia Neri)
Former Lazio striker Giuseppe Signori has tipped Roma legend Francesco Totti to continue smashing goal records in Serie A.

Totti's hat-trick against Bari has taken his tally to 187 goals in the league, just one behind Signori's haul of 188. The Italian has wished 'Er Pupone' all the best in breaking more records. He believes Totti can easily reach Roberto Baggio's 205 all-time tally.

"Totti just needs one goal to get past me [sic]. It was always going to happen sooner or later," Signori told Puntosport.net.

"I am happy that Totti is scoring so many goals. He is having a great campaign and his third goal against Bari was really good.

"I send him my compliments. I have never doubted his ability and you can tell he is a real champion.

"If he continues like this, not only will he surpass me, but he will soon get up to Roberto Baggio."
