Siena Coach Marco Baroni May Be Sacked This Week - Manuel Gerolin
The sporting director will re-evaluate the horrendous situation the team finds itself in over the next few days...
Sporting director Manuel Gerolin has strongly hinted that a new tactician may be appointed this week, with rumours connecting Gigi Cagni to the position.
"We will evaluate the situation tomorrow," Gerolin stated to Datasport. "We have given time to Marco because we believed in him, and trusted him, but this should have been a match to launch our season.
"Now we shall see, as we do not need a revolution, but only to re-find ourselves."
Also speaking along the same lines as Gerolin is Robur director Sandro Federico.
"We have given Marco a grand possibility because he fully-deserved it," Federico stated. "Now we need to make the necessary evaluations to give the side a shock to the system.
"We still believe in salvation and will fight until there is no longer a possibility, because we still can get out of this situation.
