Roma Captain Francesco Totti Proves Detractors Wrong
Many thought that 'Il Capitano' was finished, but he proved them wrong with a first-half hat-trick...
The 33-year-old was coming back from a knee injury he sustained over a month ago, and scored all three goals in 28 minutes.
"When they talk like this, they bring me fortune," Totti was quoted as saying post-match to Datasport.
"Despite my performance, they still continue to say that I am finished."
"I won't talk to the media for the rest of the day, it would be too easy," he added before scampering off.
"I'm in a hurry, excuse me."
The Giallorossi play Atalanta in their next league match.
