After watching his Milan side come through a seven goal rollercoaster against a fearless Cagliari outfit, coach Leonardo was full of smiles as he spoke to SkySport shortly after the game.

“I am happy as I have my voice back and I just witnessed a game full of emotions,” declared the coach.

“All four of the attackers scored and that makes me happy. It is true that we had difficulties defending and getting cover at the back but when we get going and play, the side has the ability to create some spectacular stuff.”

The Brazilian tactician was then asked to comment on the performances of compatriots Alexandre Pato and Ronaldinho, after the samba pair lit up the San Siro.

“Pato scored an extraordinary goal in a very delicate moment of the game and this certainly helped pave the way to victory.

"Ronaldinho has his enthusiasm back and he was playing alongside other players who played well for him. I am happy for him as well as the other players who are finding their form at an important stage of the season."

The coach then concluded with his verdict on midfield general Gennaro Gattuso's situation at Milanello.

“I sincerely don’t think it is true (that Gattuso will leave Milan in January). I spoke with Galliani before the game and I saw Gattuso who was extremely relaxed this morning. I hope he recovers from his injury soon and I look forward to having him back at my disposal.”
