Daniel Fonseca Tips Alessandro Del Piero-Diego Partnership For Glory At Juventus
The former Juve hitman is confident the duo will turn on the style for the Bianconeri.
Ex-Juventus striker Daniel Fonseca believes the Serie A giants will greatly benefit from captain Alessandro Del Piero’s comeback from injury.
‘Alex’ is expected to make his long-awaited return against Udinese in tonight’s ‘Posticipo’ and the Uruguayan has eased fears that coach Ciro Ferrara will struggle to find the right system to have Del Piero and Brazilian ace Diego complement one another.
“Del Piero and Diego will be a problem, but only for the opposing teams,” Fonseca told Turin-based daily Tuttosport.
“They are both exceptionally gifted players and more importantly have the advantage of speaking the same football language.
“They can become devastating and when you have more champions in your team, anything becomes easier.
“With Diego and Del Piero, Juve have everything to entertain and play spectacular football.”
Juve will desperately need a win over Udinese this evening to cut the gap to Serie A leaders Inter who moved eight points clear at the top of the table after yesterday’s 3-1 win over Bologna.
