Inter midfielder Thiago Motta expressed his happiness and satisfaction about playing for his team who managed to beat Bologna 3-1 on Saturday evening in the 13th matchday of the Italian top flight.

This was an extremely important win ahead of the Nerazzurri's match against Barcelona on Tuesday, with Motta looking forward to this clash.

"The entire team played a good game and now we can go to Barcelona with more serenity," declard the former Genoa player to inter.it.

"However, it wasn't easy, it's never easy, especially when you face a team which is placed well on the pitch with three very good attackers. Still, we played carefully and with concentration.

"I'm proud to be in this team and to face a great team like Barcelona on Tuesday. We have three days to prepare ourselves in the best possible way."

Inter increased their lead at the top of Serie A to eight points ahead of Juventus' match against Udinese later on this evening.
