Parma Coach Guidolin Satisfied With Reaching Third Place
Parma coach Francesco Guidolin commented on his team's 3-2 away win against Fiorentina.
"We are third on the table but only momentarily," he said to Sky Sport. "We've already played away from home other times. Parma have already played on difficult pitches.
"We reaped what we sowed. With more victories we would be in a different position but we deserve to be where we are.
"I'm happy like I always am when we win on a difficult and important pitch like the Franchi. I expected we would give a good performance, that the team would do well. We have done worse at home but this victory is important. We didn't do well in Bergamo but today we answered very well.
"Fiorentina also did well but we did a bit more and we deserved the victory. We knew we could have suffered Fiorentina's attack but we knew we could also threaten them with our midfielders and our wingers. Everything went well; you also need a bit of luck."
