Tonight Fiorentina suffered a bad home defeat, going down 3-2 at home against Parma. Alberto Gilardino scored a brace, but it wasn't enough for the Viola.

The striker talked about his disappointment to Sky: "We've lost at the end of an incredible match. They played to win and scored three goals so they deserved it.

"We wanted to get points but we couldn't do it, we left behind too much space, we should have been more careful."

On the referee's performance, he said: "I don't want to talk about it, the images will tell all. Now let's think about the match against Lyon."

Midfielder Marco Donadel was sent off late on with a second yellow card, which infuriated coach Cesare Prandelli.
