Leonardo Confident Ronaldinho Will Feature For Milan Against Cagliari
The tactician is looking forward to tomorrow's clash against the Rossoblu...
Milan coach Leonardo has revealed that Ronaldinho should be available for this weekend's match with Cagliari, despite fears that he would miss out due to flu.
"I believe that Ronaldinho will recover for tomorrow," he explained in a press conference.
"He has had the flu that has unfortunately been going around in the last few days - even [Massimo] Oddo had it five days ago."
The rookie coach then turned his attentions to the Rossoneri's other injured players, and hinted that there may have to be a makeshift substitutes bench tomorrow.
"[Mathieu] Flamini turned his ankle a bit in training on Wednesday and will not recover for tomorrow, unfortunately. [Rodney] Strasser and [Alexander] Merkel have been called up from the Primavera, so we will have to consider how to manage the bench.
"[Gennaro] Gattuso will have a weekend of tests to see how he is. He is recovering - he's lost a bit of time, but he is recovering. We must not rush him.
"[Davide] Di Gennaro is busy with the Primavera today - after being out for a while, playing 90 minutes will be useful and we will be able to evaluate his condition."
