AC Milan Chief Adriano Galliani Hints At Summer Exit For Klaas-Jan Huntelaar & Gennaro Gattuso
The Dutch striker could be on his way out of the club after one season in Serie A...
However, Galliani has since done a U-turn and left the door open for the duo to leave the club in the summer.
"Huntelaar and Gattuso will stay at Milan, at least until the end of the season," he is quoted as saying by milannews.it.
Huntelaar only joined the Rossoneri this summer from Real Madrid in a €15 million deal, but has failed to adapt to Serie A after finding the net regularly in the Eredivisie and the Primera Division.
His departure would not be a shock, but it appears that Leonardo wants to stamp his mark on the squad by culling a number of the old guard as soon as possible. Gattuso has been with Milan since 1999, but it appears that he could also be on his way out.
In addition, Giuseppe Favalli will retire next summer, while Dida's contract is not expected to be renewed by the Rossoneri.
