David Beckham: Milan Stay Will Not Be Permanent
The deadball specialist has promised that he will return to his American employers after another brief stay in Serie A...
David Beckham has assured LA Galaxy fans that he will be returning to the club once again after a loan spell with Milan.
The midfielder joined the Rossoneri last winter on a loan basis, later returning and enjoying success with the Galaxy, and he is poised to repeat the move this season.
Beckham wants to play in Europe in order to prove his fitness to England coach Fabio Capello ahead of the 2010 World Cup, but 'Golden Balls' announced that he will be back in Los Angeles after the tournament in South Africa this summer.
"I've never though about leaving the US to return permanently to Europe," he was quoted as saying by sportmediaset.
"I am busy with the MLS, Galaxy owner Tim Leiweke, and the entire franchise. I have always said I will lend a hand."
The 34-year-old will take part in the MLS Cup final this Sunday against Real Salt Lake. He will join up with the Rossoneri ahead of the New Year.
