AC Milan forward Ronaldinho is doubtful for the match against  Cagliari on Sunday as he is suffering from a bout of flu.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Brazilian whiz did not take part in Friday's training session at Milanello because of the virus.

It is said the player has a high temperature and he is unlikely to be risked. Ronaldinho is likely to rest this weekend so he can return for Wednesday's Champions League tie against Marseille.

Despite the flu, he was able to train inside the gym as the rest of the players performed tactical exercises on the pitch.

Marek Jankulovski, Gennaro Gattuso, Daniele Bonera and Oguchi Onyewu are all injured. Alessandro Nesta is suspended for the clash.
