Inter Coach Jose Mourinho Calm Ahead Of Busy Week
The coach is in a relaxed mood ahead of a crucial week of appointments...
As usual, he is taking everything in stride as he meandered a barrage of questions from the press during his pre-game speech.
Losing Davide Santon and Wesley Sneijder to injury, as well as discovering Mario Balotelli supports bitter rivals Milan this week has clearly not affected the 'Special One'. The defender could be out for up to 40 days after having surgery to a damaged meniscus.
"We have lost Sneijder and Santon, but this happens during national games it's normal," Mourinho told the press.
"I will not make major changes against Bologna either.
"How do I manage Balotelli? Balotelli is a player like everyone else...a psychologist? I am the best sports psychologist he can have. It's no drama that he supports Milan. I heard [Filippo] Inzaghi supports Inter," continued the coach.
Mourinho was then reluctant to join in the hornets storm of protest following Thierry Henry's controversial handball goal against Ireland.
"I called [Giovanni] Trapattoni after the game as he is a friend of mine, but it was difficult to say something to him," added Mourinho.
Barcelona are up next in the Champions League for the Nerazzurri who are hoping to seal their passage to the next round.
"Barcelona? It's not the game of our lives, the game of our lives was against Dynamo Kiev," concluded the coach.
