No Rush Over Filippo Inzaghi's Contract Renewal - AC Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani
Galliani has warned the club's players to perform and help deliver objectives or their futures at Milan could be thrown into doubt...
Inzaghi's current deal expires in June, but he has not yet held any negotiations with the club over extending it. The Italian striker threatened to turn his back on the club and join another team if he didn't receive any signs of faith.
"I will decide when I quit football, but one thing is for sure; I will carry on playing even if it's not for Milan," Inzaghi told the show Chiambretti Night earlier this week.
Galliani has now replied, and he has reminded Inzaghi that he is the one holding all the cards.
"We have to wait until the spring to look at all the deals that expire in June," Galliani told the press.
"We will see what happens, but by that time we need to be certain that we are in the Champions League."
