Alessandro Nesta: Milan Have Recovered
The Rossoneri have done well in recent weeks and succeeded to climb up the standings in better positions.
Milan defender Alessandro Nesta has seen a big improvement by his team following his criticism towards the squad at the end of the match against Atalanta which ended 1-1.
These latest results have led Nesta to believe that the league title is still possible as the Rossoneri will give their best to decrease the gap from Inter.
"I had said that the results were not going well, but in this period I would say that Milan have recovered," declared the former Lazio player to sportmediaset.it.
"We must believe at all cost in the Scudetto and work for that. We're a bit behind, but if Inter will let go, we'll give it a shot."
Nesta also commented the rumours linking midfielder Gennaro Gattuso to Manchester City.
"These are just rumours," he said. "I see him work every day and I'm convinced that he will remain with us."
Milan are currently in third place with 22 points from 12 games played, two points behind Juventus and seven points behind league leaders Inter.
